Royers Round Top Cafe has been baking the world a better place, one homemade pie at a time, since the 1980s and we're still goin’ strong.
We proudly bake up and ship out a variety of flavors of our handcrafted and world famous pies, including our one and only Bud’s Butterscotch Chip Pie topped with ooey-gooey-melty caramelized sugar and sweet Texas pecans. Can you believe it tastes even better than it sounds?
Some of our pies have been named the ‘best pies in the country’ and even made their TV debut on the Food Network! So, yeah...we’re kinda a big deal.
We bake our pies from scratch, using only the freshest ingredients we can find. Each of our many-a-taste tested recipes have been passed down from generations of the Royers family, started by none other than Bud “The Pieman” Royer...so you know they're good!
Each pie that leaves our bakery is dripping with drool-worthy flavor that’s sure to have your taste buds dancin’.

BUD'S CHOCOLATE CHIP PIE
‘Tis the pie that is Cafe’s claim to fame & that started it all so many years ago! It’s best described as a “big thick & chewy chocolate chip cookie with pecan”. We highly recommend eating it warmed with a scoop of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream to top it off!
NOT MY MOM'S APPLE PIE
The Food and Wine Magazine rate this apple pie as one of the best pies in the country! It has been a staple of the cafe’s menu for 28 years that we recently decided to start shipping them! We start off with apple slices topped with a brown sugar and whipped cream filling and finally topped off with a wonderful brown sugar and pecan topping! Don’t ask how we infused a sprinkle of George Washington’s tears of joy into every bite...it’s a secret family recipe.
WHITE TEXAS TRASH PIE
This decadent treat has everything you want in both a candy bar and pie! We’re talking white chocolate chips, pecans, caramel, coconut, graham crackers and pretzels… warmed with a big ‘ole scoop of Blue Bell Vanilla that will show you proof heaven on earth exists!
CAFE'S BUTTERMILK DELIGHT PIE
Take the magic of the original buttermilk pie that is only served in the cafe, but we’ve kicked it up a notch and added chocolate chips, pecans and shredded coconut. This is the pie that ‘Bud the Pieman’ made with the Deen family on the Food Network Show, ROAD TASTED.
SWEET N’ SALTY
This award winning pie is more like a caramel brownie pie fusion. Oh yeah, we went there. We’ve been cranking out this dense gooey, fudgy pie from the restaurant for years. It’s topped with sea salt to make all your taste buds tingle.
TEXAS TRASH PIE
This pie is everything you want in both a candy bar and pie! We’re talkin’ caramel, chocolate chips, coconut, graham crackers and pretzels… all in one delectable bite!
CAFE'S CUTIE PIES
These little pies are for those who can’t make up their mind! (Hey, no judgement here!) Each box includes the Cafe’s Mini 4- inch Pies - Buds Chocolate Chip, Ann’s Pecan, Texas Trash & Sweet and Salty Chocolate Caramel with Sea Salt! They’re packaged 4 in a box and one of each kind.
Trust us when we say...we know what we're talking about when it comes to pie topped with mouthwatering homemade ice cream to make your wildest pie dreams come true. We really are firm believers that a piece of a pie a day keeps the sweet tooth at bay.
